To AED or not, that is the question?

Cardiac Arrests are a real part of the workplace and time is very much of the essence!
If you do nothing except call the ambulance a casualties chances of survival is 5%, if you do effective CPR only it increase to 9% and if you apply an AED that increases again to 24%.
These results are based on a casualty being discharged from hospital 30 days after the event. For me I would prefer the odds of applying an AED.
What would you or your colleagues prefer?
